Shipping & Freight Policy

Empire Equipment & Repair delivers professional-grade shop equipment nationwide. Review our specific freight and delivery requirements below.

1. Shipping Coverage & Fulfillment

Service Area

We provide freight shipping to the Lower 48 States.

Out-of-Area Shipping

For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or international locations, please contact us for a custom logistics quote before placing your order.

Fulfillment Time

Standard order processing and fulfillment takes 6-10 business days. Delivery times may vary based on carrier schedules and seasonal demand.

2. Fulfillment & Freight Process

Fulfillment

All KATOOL and Rainier Engineering products ship directly from our partner fulfillment centers across the United States to minimize transit time.

Freight Delivery

Large equipment (Lifts/Tire Changers) is shipped via professional freight carriers. Please ensure your location is accessible for a full-size trailer.

Tracking

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your equipment leaves the warehouse.

3. Equipment Delivery Requirements

Heavy Freight Shipping

Most of our equipment (Lifts, Tire Changers, Compressors) is shipped via Heavy Freight.

Commercial Addresses

Free or standard shipping rates apply to registered commercial addresses or the nearest carrier terminal.

Forklift Requirement

For Two-Post and Four-Post Lifts, the customer must provide a forklift or similar machinery for unloading at the time of delivery.

Terminal Pickup

If you do not have a forklift or a commercial dock, we can arrange for Terminal Delivery, where you can pick up your equipment at the carrier's local hub.

4. Additional Services & Fees

Certain delivery conditions require extra handling by the carrier:

Residential Delivery

$90 Flat Fee

Liftgate Service

$90 Flat Fee. Note: Liftgate is not available for most two-post or four-post lifts due to weight and length.

Re-Delivery

Customers are responsible for any fees incurred if the carrier is unable to complete a scheduled delivery.

5. Inspection & Damage Claims

Bill of Lading Signature

Your signature on the Bill of Lading (BOL) is a legal confirmation that the shipment arrived in perfect condition.

Inspect Before Signing

Thoroughly check all crates and packaging for damage or missing pieces before the driver leaves.

Note All Issues

If there is any damage, you must note it clearly on the delivery receipt/BOL.

Report Immediately

Notify Empire Equipment & Repair of any concealed damage or shortages within 48 hours of delivery.

Refusal Option

If the shipment is severely damaged, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.

6. Warranty & Parts

While we do not cover labor for repairs, Empire Equipment & Repair stands by our Warranty Policy. Replacement parts for shipping-related defects are provided at no cost to the customer, with free shipping included.
